Vutivi Health Analytics is a not-for-profit organisation working in health analytics. The company's focus is to use aggregated Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) to identify and monitor disease trends. PROs are health outcome data reported directly by the patients on the status of their health condition without interpretation of the patient's response by a clinician or anyone else.
Vutivi Health Analytics works with individuals within South Africa to report their health outcomes. The self-reporting of health outcomes aims to contribute to a collation of aggregated data. Thus, the reporting of health information contributes to the health system for improvement of care and improves the individual quality of life.
Due to limitations on health care resources in South Africa, with the delayed implementation of electronic medical records. Most of the population in South Africa are dependent on the government. This platform will act as a Source highlighting individual patient input to their disease management and treatment. A source data is the first point of data entry. The platform applies digital Case Report forms (CRFs) requiring patients to input their data directly into the system.
